Meet Michael Weiss, Teresa Guastella, and Thomas Murphy, entrepreneurs and founders of RoomRite.
After Covid, Michael and Teresa met while working on another product and began discussions and researching the impact of attrition globally. After months of planning, research, testing, and working with several advisors, they brought on an additional founder, Thomas Murphy, to help build the patent-pending SaaS product.
Since that time, the three of them have been working alongside planners, DMOs, hotels, and cruise lines alike, helping to create mutual wins for everyone who interacts with RoomRite.
One of the many unique elements that makes this start up special is the team, with 70 years of industry experience. They are helping to solve a $21 billion dollar problem. RoomRite takes the unused rooms in the meetings, events, and hospitality industry and resells blocks of rooms due to cancellations and attrition.
From day one, their goal has been to provide a tool that benefits event professionals hoteliers, and cruise lines to mitigate losses when attrition and cancellation inevitably occur.
Using their experience in hotel sales, conference production, event software, and business development, the founding team created a proprietary technology that empowers a win-win solution.
